Account & Data Deletion
You can delete your account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains exactly how to do that, what gets deleted, and what (if anything) is retained for legal or operational reasons.
1. In-app deletion (preferred)
If the app you are using offers an in-app option, that is the fastest way:
- Open the app and sign in to your account.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete account (the path may vary slightly between apps).
- Confirm the deletion. You may be asked to re-authenticate.
- Your account and the associated data will be removed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email.
2. Deletion by email
If your app does not offer in-app deletion, send an email to:
Please include the following so we can verify your identity:
- The subject line: Account Deletion Request
- The name of the application(s) you used.
- The email address you used to sign in.
- (Optional) Any additional identifier such as username or display name.
We will reply to confirm the request and complete deletion within 30 days. We may need to ask additional questions to verify ownership of the account before we proceed.
3. What gets deleted
- Your account profile (name, email, profile picture, preferences).
- Authentication identifiers (sign-in tokens, third-party IDs).
- Content you created or uploaded inside the app.
- Personalisation data and saved settings.
- Push-notification subscriptions tied to your account.
4. What may be retained
For a limited period after account deletion, we may retain certain information for the purposes listed below. This data is segregated, access-restricted, and deleted as soon as the underlying purpose is satisfied.
- Security & fraud prevention — anonymised abuse signals, retained for up to 12 months.
- Financial & tax records — transaction records that we are legally required to keep, retained for the period required by law.
- Aggregated analytics — non-identifiable usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you.
- Backups — encrypted backups may contain residual data for up to 90 days, after which they are overwritten in the normal backup rotation.
5. Third-party platforms
Some data may exist outside our systems on platforms you used to interact with the app — for example, Google Play (purchase history), Google account (sign-in history), or third-party social platforms. To remove that data you must use the controls of the respective platform.
6. Recovery
Account deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted you will not be able to recover your content or settings. If you sign up again you will start with a fresh account.
